Why I joined NSSA: Nutrition education is something I am very enthusiastic about and I find really important so I thought joining the NSSA would be a perfect way to incorporate that and my passion for nutrition! I also want to find other like-minded individuals and expand the nutrition community at UofT! Looking forward to meeting everyone :)

Why I joined NSSA: Last year, I joined NSSA and I really enjoyed working with an awesome group of individuals to serve the nutritional sciences community at UofT. I can’t wait for another year of fun events and I look forward to connecting with more new people!

Why I joined NSSA:

 

As Hippocrates once said, "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food." I believe that nutrition and our diet play a significant role in preventive medicine. That's why I chose to study Nutritional Sciences. I joined the NSSA because I wanted to collaborate with individuals who share the same passion for nutrition and provide essential support to fellow students, enabling them to thrive in the program! I'm excited to meet and connect with new people, expand our community, and promote the field of nutritional sciences!

Why I joined: As last year’s NSSA President, I wanted to come back and help the team with transitioning back into an in-person school year. We have held lots of events online and it’ll be amazing to do all of them in-person this year!

Why I joined NSSA: I have a strong passion for nutrition and its impact on health and well-being. I believe that being part of this association will provide me with valuable opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals and engage in meaningful activities and events related to nutritional sciences. I hope to contribute my skills and ideas to promote nutritional awareness and education. I see NSSA as a great platform to enhance my knowledge, network with fellow students and professionals, and make a positive difference in the field of nutrition.

Why I joined NSSA: My eagerness to join the Nutritional Sciences Student Association arises from my will to be involved in a community that shares my passion for understanding the vital role nutrition plays in human well-being. In addition, my strong passion in food science encourages me to discover and share relative knowledge to the broader community!

Why I joined NSSA: I chose nutritional science major because I have been in love with food since I was 12. I love to bake, make cocktails and box. NSSA provides me with a greater platform to meet people with the same interest! I planned to become a clinical dietitian or be a food developer in the future.
