Fun Fact: I discovered my passion for nutrition and baking when I was 6 (I would read the nutrition facts table and watch cooking videos in my free time!).
Why I joined NSSA: My experiences as NSSA's secretary in my 3rd year could not have been any more fulfilling. I found people who shared similar interests, and some who brought new perspectives. Why I joined NSSA: I really wanted to become more involved in the Nutritional Science community at UofT. I also think that being a part of the NSSA allows me to learn a lot more about oppurtunities in the field through networking, events, and conversations with upper-year students, faculty, and professionals.

Fun Fact: I love the Starbucks in Robarts
Why I joined NSSA: I joined NSSA as a way to explore my genuine interest for nutrition, along with having the ability to connect with others who share this same interest as me. As busy university students, I understand that proper nutrition is often neglected, so I hope that as a group we can all explore ways to build and maintain healthy habits (especially during chaotic midterm seasons). I'm so excited to be a part of all the great activities NSSA has to offer this term!
